Alex spent years searching for a tattooer with high scrutiny and oddly enough landed on me to be the artist for his first. I say oddly because I’m one of the million self deprecating artists out there that don’t think I have the chops for this increasingly talented craft. That being said I feel like I rose to the challenge and started a wonderful collection for him.
At the beginning of March I decided to simplify life. Ive taken a part time residency at a local shop in Golden called Great Day Tattoo. The goal was create more, commute less and over all find a more easy going quality to life. I’m looking forward to starting new projects, learning new aspects to the process and getting peoples hands on new art. I also have a fund raiser going to memorialize my boston terrier Cole. I have a flash sheet that is inspired by my time spent with Cole as well as other dog related images. In addition any dog portraits done in March will also be contributed to the Mid America Boston Terrier Rescue. Here’s the run down I posted to instagram
